Welcome !
The Bayside U3A Writers Group
The purpose of this website is to host literary works written by members of the Bayside U3A Writers Group. The Bayside U3A Writers Group meets regularly to share and discuss written works in various genres. There are some 20 members. Since 2013, approximately thirty radio plays have been written by writers in the group and performed by local actors. Whether writing poetry, short stories, novels, radio plays, stage plays or creative messages, there is one thing shared in common by the members of this wonderful group of diverse personalities and talent – an enthusiasm and passion for writing.

We respectfully acknowledge that the Boon wurrung people of the Kulin Nation were the traditional custodians of the land where we meet that now comprises the City of Bayside. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge and uphold their continuing relationship to this land. This acknowledgement also recognises the importance, diversity and strength of Indigenous cultures to the heritage of all Australians.
